Chichester Cruiser Racing Club

About Chichester Cruiser Racing Club

The Chichester Cruiser Racing Club was formed in 1948 to provide yacht owners who were members of sailing clubs in the Chichester Harbour area with a race programme.

Today the Club still fulfils the same aim and caters for the needs of yachtsmen and women with boats ranging from 6 to 15m.

CCRC offers an active programme throughout the season with both round-the-cans and passage races, including at least one Channel crossing, and a cruise in company. Several open events are run in conjunction with other Chichester Harbour sailing clubs. The season starts at the end of April and runs through to the end of October with racing about two weekends a month.

CCRC

Many CCRC members take part for no better reason than the fun of it, while others compete at the highest levels with recent notable successes in RORC races, Cowes Week, Cork Week, the IRC Nationals and ISC Round-the-Island.

Guest yachts are always welcome. See RACING for information on how to enter.
